The Science of Hot Yoga

The Science of Hot Yoga 50 Hour Intensive is an immersion program offered by Yoga In The World and hosted by Surya Yoga Academy. The weekend intensives as well as the class and observation hours in the week between, will allow participants to actively integrate and practice the skills and information presented by our trainers. This program is an intense yet rewarding experience that will require commitment, dedication, and receptivity. The training will be a wonderful opportunity to deepen your practice and gain knowledge of relevant anatomy, asana, and sequencing in a heated room.

Yoga in the World develops innovative methods for brain-based learning. This allows a person to absorb an increased amount of information in a shortened period of time. Trainees will have the opportunity to practice the presented sequence and the dialogue provided by this training, as well as understand how to create their own innovative sequences for a hot room.

You will get out of the training what you put into it! We invite you to treat these next two weekends as a mini-retreat. Think of this as an opportunity to return to self and guided study. Practice the material until it feels like you have internalized it. Make it your own!

Immersions can be a wonderful way to reconnect with a like-minded community and further your spiritual and intellectual development. Live the change and spread it to others! To complete the program you must be present for all of the training hours and you will be presented with a certificate of completion at the end of the last day.  Set your intention and the universe will manifest it!
